Pastoral Staff & Elders*

Jeff Brinkman

LEAD PASTOR

Jeff was born and raised in Canada. He graduated from BIOLA with a B.A. in 1996, after which he worked for three years as a head hunter in Southern California. Feeling a call to ministry, he enrolled at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston in 1999, graduating with a Masters of Divinity in 2002. Jeff and his wife Becky have 3 daughters and 1 son. Jeff enjoys all sports (especially hockey), reading, hiking, barbeques, and spending time with his family.

Dave Lundberg

ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Dave is originally from Southern California and moved to Spokane in 2005 after serving in the U.S. Navy. He immediately pursued both a Business Management degree from Eastern Washington University and his wife Kelly, who he married in 2006. Since becoming a Christian, Dave has had a passion and zeal for ministry and devoted any time he could to serving his local church. In 2023 the Lord called Dave to leave his corporate career and to serve his church full-time as an Associate Pastor at GCF Valley. Dave considers himself a lifelong learner and looks forward to pursuing seminary classes. In his free time, you’ll find Dave with his wife and their two boys (Isaiah and Micah), BBQing, or teaching himself a new skill via YouTube.  His favorite verse in the Bible (Eph. 4:2) can be summed up by these two simple words…“But God”. It is the Lord’s sovereign plan over Dave’s life that brings him joy, peace, encouragement, and perseverance to run the race.

Brian DeBoer

ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Brian was born and raised in the Spokane Valley. God graciously saved him during his first year of college and he began attending a local church. In 1998, he married his lovely wife Rondi, and they have four wonderful daughters. He graduated from Eastern Washington University with a BA in Mathematics in 1995 and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 1998. After a 25-year career in physical therapy, Brian sensed the Lord calling him to full-time ministry at GCF Valley and in 2024 he became an Associate Pastor. He enjoys spending time with his family and watching Gonzaga basketball.

Kelly’s lifelong prayer is that she will never cease to be amazed by the grace and mercy of our good, good Father. Soli Deo Gloria.

Darcy Lassey

Originally from Montana, Darcy has lived in the Spokane area since 1994. She received her Masters in Counseling through Westminster Theological Seminary, is also trauma informed and continues to educate herself in various areas of the counseling world. Darcy considers it a privilege to walk alongside the hurting, for she believes and wants to communicate to others that God, who is merciful, knows our frame and remembers that we are dust (Psalms 103:14). Darcy also enjoys spending time with her husband Paul of 41 years, their three children and spouses, as well as their six wonderful grandchildren. She loves long walks with friends and all things counseling.
